In 2011 Chaz Bono, Cher’s transgender son, spoke out. Chaz said, “I would love to talk to them at some point, [And] at least let them know we have this resource for them if they ever need it. For a child who had grown up in the spotlight, under the watchful eye of the media, it can be too much to handle.”
